Chips

This is my graph we did our maths on chips. My small chips were the biggest my medium chips were the second and my large chips were the lowest I enjoyed it because it was fun plus I have never used it before we used google sheets. Mrs Long told us how to use it.  

Haiku poem

This is my Haiku poem. I really enjoyed it because I learnt how to do it. A Haiku poem is when you can only use three sentences one sentence has their own number of syllables. The first line has five syllables, the next line has seven syllables then the the last one has five syllables.

Colour poem

This is my colour poem  I really enjoy it because I have never done it before and I have never used Animoto. It toke a long to because I was being funny and not doing my work.

Repeated addition and multiplication

We  have been working on repeated addition and multiplication. Repeated addition is when you put them in groups and add them all together. I did a lot of time on this Zack and me had some trouble but it worked out fine. I had a lot of fun dong it. What I loved about it was making the slides and doing the writing.

Coding

When we were coding on Tynker I made these three things they are colourful circles. My favourite one is the white and pink one. My second one is the yellow mixed with green.
What I liked about coding is making new thing and learning new stuff. Today we had Mr Kinane like always. Today he challenge the whole class to make something that looks like a mine craft person head. It was cool and fun to do these three circles on the side is what I made I am so impressed what I made. I haven't seen Mr Kinane for a long time. What I liked about what we did today was having him around and making something new. Today I was siting beside a teacher and showed her what to do.

Melted Wax Art

        
We were doing art we made our own clowns. First we drew our clown in our everyday book. When we were done we got a big piece of white paper. Then we choose our colour to paint in. We painted, we used melted crayons it was so much fun.


 Then we started painting I used the colours orange, green, blue, black, light blue, red and yellow. I made a blue bow, blue eye patch, green hair and light blue flower. For my border I did squares and triangles. 


 My favourite thing about my art is the bow and his light blue moustache. The thing that we used to melt the crayons in was called an Electric fry pan the water that was in it was so hot like the sun. We needed paint brushes to paint the melted crayons because if we didn’t us paint brushes we would have crayons on our hands that would bad. It took a long time, it took about a week for me. 


 The crayons dried very quickly it dries about when you blink. We had about three people at the table at a time. We had to do one stroke at a time. Each colour had its own paint brush. 


 It was fun because we got to paint with crayons and because I have never done it before.

Reflection

This term at Kaniere School I like having to do maths because it makes my brain

go bigger to learn more Maths. I am great at listening and doing my maths

because I always sit next to my desk and not get distracted.

I'm good at my maths because I always get my answers right on Xtramaths.

I only have four more to go until I am on the next level it is going to be exciting.

I think I need to work on writing more like I could maybe do 10 or more sentences

20 or more could do me.

My favourite part of the term was having fun and learning new things because

I love to learn new things. But I kind of love having fun because I get to play with my friends.

This term I have felt so happy, like really happy, with a nice

teacher and a nice classmate, Xanthe.

This term I have been coding with Mr Kinane the coding that we have been doing

with him was making shapes and other stuff. The other day we did some art it was fun because we had Mrs Hickford and we did the Matariki stars. 

The teachers that we had were so much fun with was Mrs Long, Mrs Neale,

Mrs Hickford and Miss Packham.
