Melted Wax Art

        
We were doing art we made our own clowns. First we drew our clown in our everyday book. When we were done we got a big piece of white paper. Then we choose our colour to paint in. We painted, we used melted crayons it was so much fun.


 Then we started painting I used the colours orange, green, blue, black, light blue, red and yellow. I made a blue bow, blue eye patch, green hair and light blue flower. For my border I did squares and triangles. 


 My favourite thing about my art is the bow and his light blue moustache. The thing that we used to melt the crayons in was called an Electric fry pan the water that was in it was so hot like the sun. We needed paint brushes to paint the melted crayons because if we didn’t us paint brushes we would have crayons on our hands that would bad. It took a long time, it took about a week for me. 


 The crayons dried very quickly it dries about when you blink. We had about three people at the table at a time. We had to do one stroke at a time. Each colour had its own paint brush. 


 It was fun because we got to paint with crayons and because I have never done it before.

Reflection

This term at Kaniere School I like having to do maths because it makes my brain

go bigger to learn more Maths. I am great at listening and doing my maths

because I always sit next to my desk and not get distracted.

I'm good at my maths because I always get my answers right on Xtramaths.

I only have four more to go until I am on the next level it is going to be exciting.

I think I need to work on writing more like I could maybe do 10 or more sentences

20 or more could do me.

My favourite part of the term was having fun and learning new things because

I love to learn new things. But I kind of love having fun because I get to play with my friends.

This term I have felt so happy, like really happy, with a nice

teacher and a nice classmate, Xanthe.

This term I have been coding with Mr Kinane the coding that we have been doing

with him was making shapes and other stuff. The other day we did some art it was fun because we had Mrs Hickford and we did the Matariki stars. 

The teachers that we had were so much fun with was Mrs Long, Mrs Neale,

Mrs Hickford and Miss Packham.

Cross country

The day we did Cross Country was  Friday the 6th of June. I was versing the year fours and year threes . I came third in the girls I was versing Olivia, Renny, Kaylee, Sofia, Lucy and Xanthe .  The whole of Kaniere School went, we walked there we went to a farm to do Cross Country. That day was sunny but it was muddy from the sheep. My tights were so muddy when we finished but it was worth it. After I finished I went up on the hill I lay down I was to stuffed I couldn't get my drink so I asked one of my friends to get it and they got it. When I had a drink we went back to school and went to get changed. After we got changed then went to assembly then went home my mum picked me up I told her what place I came and she was so happy for me. That night I felt like going to bed but I went on my chrome book and watched you tube and relaxed. I gave my cat some pats when I got back then I went to bed I fell asleep straight away. The next day I was still tired and not in a high mode.

Bolt

I learned that bolt means you use a bolt to keep metal together, I can bolt across the grass, a big bolt of  lightning struck my house, when I was using my crossbow the arrow I was using was a bolt. It can also mean that when I fell of my horse the horse bolted across the grass. 

coding

I was making a four square on Tynker. It was fun. I also made a star.  I tried to make a six star but I didn't get there so I tried and tried.  

Procrastinate

I leaned that procrastinate means that your mum or dad wants you to do some thing. But you don't do it so you put it off and do it soon.

Cybersmart

 I have learnt to keep my chromebook on a flat surface. Don't pile thing on top of your chromebook. Keep your keyboard clear keep. Food and drinks away from your chromebook. Be careful how you carry your chromebook. Keep your chromebook charged. Tell your teacher if your chromebook breaks. Be in the right place at the right time.
